It is perfectly feasible to cover the running
costs of your Bavaria plus a good number of flights for your personal
use all year round.
By forming a UK company or registered for
VAT as a sole trader, your purchase VAT can be reclaimed.
You are responsible for annual:- Commercial
insurance, berthing and maintenance.
This running cost will be covered by 5
to 6 weeks of High season Charter.
Three annual flights (3hrs from UK to yacht)
for a family of 4 would be covered by 1 to 2 more weeks of charter.
